A1 Steakhouse ll 3219 Schoenersville Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017

"Ok first off my wife and I have eaten at the A1 Steakhouse on Lehigh street and were always pleased. We got excited for this closer location. The look of the restaurant cool & cozy. We ordered shumai (steamed shrimp dumplings) piping hot and tasty. My wife ordered udon shrimp soup with salad and green tea. The tea was good as was her salad, the broth of her soup was super bland even with the addition of soy sauce couldn't save it. I ordered smoked salmon sushi (2 pc) and the super poke with purple rice. The sushi was good, my poke was edible and not worth $18. I had a major problem with frozen peas in my poke. Really, frozen ?! Aside from the mediocre food the service really sucked. We were the only customers for lunch, my meal aside from the rice wasn't a hot meal, my wife got her salad and soup before me and I had to wait a really long time to get anything I ordered even to the point a take out customer got his sushi order BEFORE I did. Truly pathetic. I am in no hurry to return."

"It’s homey and doesn’t have the normal crowd feel. Doesn’t have the traditional hibachi grill but it didn’t need it! Food was still just as delicious! Spring rolls were made to perfection and steak shrimp combo w/fried didn’t disappoint. I have to say they’ll see me soon!"

"Was greeted as soon as I entered and was able to eat at the small (4 seat) sushi bar. The service was prompt and the sushi chiefs very generous with their cuts. The sushi was delicious in both flavor and art as sushi should be. Definitely found my go to Allentown airport sushi spot!"

"We ordered take out and the food was still delicious! The portions that were given to us were great. I love when I receive a lot of rice in my Togo order! I ordered the steak which came with fried rice and veggies and soup and it was still hot when I got home. I just wish the app had a time frame on when to pick up the order but otherwise everything was perfect and the staff was very friendly. Walking inside the restaurant to pick up the order, everything was clean, cozy, and such a lovely design! Will be coming back very often!"

"We absolutely love the A1 steakhouse in Allentown and were so excited to hear they were coming to Bethlehem without having to wait for other people to be seated and order and didn't have to wait for a chef to come out. We ate here tonight and the food is just as good as the one on lehigh st. The food was really good, the portions were similar and our waitress was very nice and attentive. If you like Hibachi food and don't want to have to sit through the show this is the place for you. My wife got a noodle bowl rice and steak. My son got hibachi rice, veggies and steak and I got chicken and shrimp combo with rice and veggies and we all got an extra side of rice, and drinks and our bill was only 80. We had plenty of food to bring home with us."
