"The lady at the front desk was very helpful when I informed her that There were no wipes around to wipe down the Machines & the bathrooms was dirty. This was in the morning, idk but this is basic gym 101."

"The gym is average at best compared to other LAFitnesses. The most troubling part is the carpet. Why put carpet down where people are sweating? I didn’t realize how smelly that place was till I went to the location in GlenArden for two weeks and then came back today. It’s enough to make you wrinkle your nose when walking in. Highly suggest that the site be upgraded to take out the carpet in addition to get some new equipment and a consistent janitor to keep the bathrooms clean."

"Walked in and got excellent attention from staff including explanations of membership levels, tour of the facility, and hard copy of class schedule. They even helped me download the app and set it up! Looking forward to working out here"

"They need to offer better quality equipment, more squat benches and elliptical machines are needed. The equipment is rusting and old. The light in the women’s sauna is always out of order and there isn’t a steam room. The cleanliness in the locker room and bathroom needs improvement. Front desk staff could be friendlier and at least greet members as they come and go. One day I told a gentleman who was working at the front desk that the women’s bathroom smelled like urine and I noticed that the floor had just been mopped so the mop used was probably being used to mop the bathroom floor as well and he just stared at me as if he didn’t care. NO RUNNING HOT WATER for over 3 weeks at this location! Also the carpet at this location is old and needs to be removed and replaced with hard floors which is more sanitary in a gym. They need to offer towels for as much as the membership cost and they need to offer more sanitization stations stocked with wipes so people can wipe down equipment without having to walk to the other side of the gym to get wipes because they don’t have them spread out throughout the floor space. Anyway unfortunately there isn’t a onelife fitness on this side of town because I had to leave that wonderful gym and join LA fitness when I moved due to the proximity of where I lived."

"I would like to give an appreciation for the housekeeper at LA fitness in Watkins Park, his name is Mr. Alpha. He has great work ethics. When he is working the bathroom and the other areas are immaculate. The hand sanitizers are always full, he is constantly picking up weights from the floor and replacing them in their designated areas. He goes above and beyond his regular duties and never complains. He is very polite and well mannered when members are talking to him. I am not the only one who gives him accolades, I hear other members. discuss what an asset he is. Again, we all appreciate him, and give thanks for a job well done by him. It is a pleasure to attend the gym when he is there because we know that we will be in a clean and comfortable environment..
