Shogun Japanese Restaurant

"We were very happy with our meal here. The food was excellent and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend checking this place out! We started with the Shogun Roll, which was delicious, then we ordered hibachi dinners. The portion sizes were quite large and everything was cooked very well. They were very good with the dietary needs that one of us had as well. Great place!"

"This was our first Hibachi experience and we loved it! We ordered the veggies with fried noodles and fried rice (which comes with egg). The whole experience while the chef cooked for us was stellar - fire volcanoes, catching and eating the flying avocado pieces, Sake being poured into our mouths! Our colourful plates looked and tasted excellent. We were given mushroom soup and salad as sides with our meal. We also tried the avocado cucumber veggie rolls that tasted amazing. The cocktails were good too. This restaurant located inside the Woodlands Inn sure was a delight!"

"The food was incredible! They yum yum sauce is like no other and the chef must have seasoned the mess out if his grill because the food was on point! And there is a very nice view of a beautiful rapid stream."

"The food here is soooo good. It was slow so we had the hibachi to ourselves (it was a Monday) but I imagine this place gets really busy with how reasonably priced it is and how yummy. The service is really good. Which I always appreciate. We'll be back soon for sure."

"First time visiting Shogun and I happened to stumble upon it on half price sushi Sunday. The wait was relatively short but it took forever to place an order. Our waitress seemed kind but scatterbrained and our small order took almost an hour to arrive. The sushi chefs were absolutely killing it though! The sushi was good, but not extraordinary. I would return, probably on a Sunday."
