"The playground equipment is relatively new and in good shape. Four different slides that are all pretty low angle (i.e., slow and safe for small kids.) Various climbing options, including some monkey bars. It's a fairly limited playground. No swings. It's down a long winding road into the woods away from the fort. Getting to it felt like we were heading to the world's most secluded playground. But there's a sizable parking area and picnic spaces near the playground. It is in the woods so it was a bit buggy. On the plus side, it's well shaded so it kept the equipment cool on a summertime visit."
