MISSION BBQ is a patriotic and community-focused restaurant located at 22599 Macarthur Boulevard in California, Maryland. Our mission is to serve authentic, mouth-watering all-American food to honor the hard-working individuals who protect and serve our country and communities. From our young men and women in uniform to our local Police, Firefighters, and First Responders, we have the utmost respect for those who make a difference every day.
Since opening our doors in 2011, MISSION BBQ has donated over $25,000,000 to vital charities and organizations that support our nation's heroes. Our General Manager in Robinson, PA, Jimi, exemplifies our values by always prioritizing the needs of our teammates above his own. We believe in taking care of our people first and foremost.
One of our inspirations is Tom Glenn, a hero who was on the last helicopter to leave Saigon during Operation Frequent Wind in 1975. His dedication to serving his country and helping others in need is a true testament to the values we hold dear at MISSION BBQ. "Wow, I have to say my first visit here, changed my mind! I thought it was more of a corporate restaurant but it's not. Cole and Melanie, we're both helpful and so kind. Melanie took the time to explain the menu, while Cole entertained my best friend's Father who was a Vietnam veteran who also found the place a delight! He was thrilled about the bang for a buck at this place too! Loaded us up on meat, and allowed us to sample the different types of meats as well their side dishes!! You may not get told this often, but thank you, Cole and Melanie, for your service! Changed one's mind and tickled an old veteran! Have a wonderful holiday both of you, who shared such kind hospitality you don't see nowadays in the service industry it truly is a rare find and you both were the gemstones!!"
"I used to live in Maryland but have recently moved to Florida and I miss Mission BBQ. We had our wedding catered by Mission BBQ and the servers were professional, pleasant, and attentive. The food was hot and delicious. For lazy days, I buy the family meal and it's good for at least 2 meals, even for a family of 5! Love Mission BBQ, wish I had one in Pensacola area!!!"

I stopped in to grab something before going into work, and everyone greeted me as I came in and made sure to speak again as I departed.
