"Last project in Frostburg MD left a little to be desired. They delivered two skids of landscaping blocks for us we put the first skid down and the second skid was different. Hence we lost half a day. Paid for delivery but to get the second load on time we had to pick it up ourselves. And when the third party delivery truck picked up the skid of landscape and blocks that was wrong we never got credited back at the store. Even though the stores assistant manager said he would handle it on Monday when they came back. I spent an hour at the store and they couldn't confirm receipt, another assistant manager. So I left and called back later I was on hold for 40 minutes waiting on the store manager. Finally an assistant manager picked up and told me the store manager had left about 20 minutes ago. That's while I was on hold on the phone. However the second assistant manager I talked to, AJ , did handle the problem for me. Fortunately most of our operation has moved south and now we do most business with home Depot."

"The incompetence isn't even shocking any more. Went with my elderly parents to try and get them a new tree for the holidays. Asked a less then helpful middle aged employee about a model that was available by tag but not on the floor he hit some buttons on his computer and said here take this paper to the customer service they'll help you. The info wasn't for the tree they wanted I mentioned that he said the one we requested was out of stock couldn't even be ordered. But this was as close as they could get OK thanks for letting us know I guess. Got to customer service they went to order it wanted to charge us $127 for shipping even though there's a promotion all holiday good over $49 ships free and couldn't get it shipped to store either said we would have to drive 4 hours away to get that tree at a store so I said what ever we can get a tree else where got online not only did I find the first tree that was out of stock but guess where I could get it shipped to for free to be picked up that's right it'll be there Monday I'd just like to say thank you to all the wonderful ppl that helped me today ,that's me im the only one who helped me there..."

"Needs better employee management. Was in the store for about 25 minutes, most of which was standing in line. With only one visible front of house employee actually working, and none on any registers. There was a line halfway across the store for the self checkout, but nobody decided to open a register? Do better Lowe's. Lowering rating from last year's 3 stars to 2 stars."

"I went through the checkout and the cashier scanned all my items but when I exited the store and looked at the receipt, I noticed there were a lot of items missing. I went back in and asked the original cashier what to do and she said she can help or the other cashier next to her could help. Since the original cashier had a long line and the other cashier had no line, I went to the other cashier. I ask the other cashier how she wanted to handle it and she has the audacity to say "well you can separate out what you bought and then I can ring you up after this customer (referencing a guy who had walked up AFTER I started talking to her) or you can go to customer service." I'm being honest and coming back (most people wouldn't) and I'm already inconvenienced by going back inside, and now you're asking me to do all the work you should be correcting yourself? This is not how you should treat customers when a mistake has been made by your team. And it's not like these were small items, over $200 in goods had been missed. To be clear, I'm not mad that the employee messed up the original checkout - stuff happens. I'm angry about how it was handled when I returned. Also the only reason I'm giving this two stars instead of one is because there were people at the customer service desk that were very helpful to find one of the items I was looking for."
