Teppanyaki Kyoto

"First time there. My daughter suggested it. She took Japanese in high school. A little on the small side with a lot of decor. Server was really nice. Food options was very interesting. I basically had chicken and ramen noodles. With lettuce. The chicken could have been cooked a little longer. But a good place to try."

"One of the only places that serves okonomiyaki in the city, and they do it well. Huge fan of the hiroshimayaki which includes all the add-ons I usually like for $1 extra for a good overall portion size. The wasabi octopus appetizer is also really great. Tried some other items on the menu like the fried items which were ok, and a little small portion-wise"

"I had heard good things about Kyoto and wanted to try a Japanese restaurant, which serves more than sushi. Kyoto didn't disappoint. The ambiance and homely and the service is friendly. Most of the food was delicious, while some of it was ok. In appetizers th pork katsu was descent, while the takoyaki was very good. We got kids (4 & 7) the pork gyoza, Yakima soba noodles, and Yaki onigri. They loved it all. My wife ordered teppanyaki eel, which was the highlight of the dinner. I ordered the oknomiyaki, and it was delicious as well. Overall we had great time here. We will definitely recommend Kyoto, we will be back here soon."
