"I only get to Giant when I'm visiting Maryland, where my daughter lives we spend an average amount for a family of 5 when we visit, but were Chef's so we like to cook, but the staff is kind. The store seems to have given everything a grocery chian should, prices or different in other areas?"

"Very poor customer service from "Dept manager" on Sat. morning at 9:00 am., Jan 6th. Purchasing 6# of vegetable item price rang up 1.00$ more per pound than marked. A very friendly self-checkout attendant sent me to customer service. An extremely rude "Department manager" rang up the item and when I asked about the price guarantee and that the item should be free, she rudely stated it was only 1 # free not the entire amount. I questioned her response only to be rudely addressed that the policy is only one item/pound. I asked to speak to a manager and she very rudely snapped "I am a manager" and then walked off. Looks like customer service re-training is needed for this manager."

"Spent over $500, cashier was extremely rude and kept rolling her eyes and telling us to stop putting stuff on the belt when there was plenty of empty room. Told us to wait putting our turkey on the belt. We didn’t even have a turkey, I was putting salads on it. Then yelled at us there was stuff under the cart after I just explained there was. Started to put it on the belt… and yes… told me to stop yet again."

"Went to the store on a Sunday afternoon and every yellow onion I picked up was already starting to rot, same with the honeycrisp apples. When I went to checkout at self serve right after a lady finished an error popped up that the normal cashier couldn’t clear, so I’m assuming he called a manager over. The lady walked over didn’t say anything to me, looked at the other cashier and said to shut it off. At this point I just moved my items from that one to the other without her still not acknowledging or saying anything to me."

"I purchased a large pack of ground beef from this location. It was a little over 3.5 lbs. I thought at 3.99 a lb it was a good deal. Upon bring my ground beef home, I began breaking the pack meat down for spaghetti and other meals c or the month so I could freeze extra. The meat is completely brown in the MIDDLE of the ground beef. It looked as if old ground beef was repurposed for the middle and new ground beef was put around it to mask the browning. I tried making spaghetti and just got grossed out and ended up throwing it out. Not happy."
