"Sad to say, I won't ever be back. It's a pity, because I loved stopping into this bar after my shifts . . . there are awesome people hanging out there and I enjoyed the outdoor tables. But I showed up tonight and evidently 'said' something that made the manager on duty cut me off . . . while various other regulars were served in spite of being utterly legless and intoxicated. I don't know why this happened - I was just sitting outside, chatting and enjoying my drink with others. Evidently, this manager overheard something that made them refuse to serve me any longer - can't think of what it might have been, unless it was me admitting that I hadn't read Goethe's 'Metamorphosis of Plants' or because I tearfully mentioned that this was a hard day for me because my father died this morning. Regardless, I won't ever be back. It's one thing to cut some one off because they are trashed, it's entirely another to cut someone off because you heard their father died, which was the only exceptional comment I made the entire night. I sat in my chair, doing a crossword puzzle and chatting with a few other regulars. I wasn't trashed, am still articulate, and am still NOT drunk and I'm seriously pissed. Won't be sending any more business your way, that's for sure."
"Great food, poor beer selection for a place that has 'pub' in its name. I order bangers and mash which were good. Could have used more gravy and the addition of mushrooms. Beer wasnt ice cold, and the selection was less than I had expected. Overall, this place isn't something to write home over, but will do if you're looking for quality food in Annapolis on a busy weekend night."
"Castle bay is an awesome little pub in Annapolis that has great food and atmosphere. They have karaoke on Thursday nights which is a huge crowd pleaser. I recommend the classic burger and the soup and salad menu is exceptional. You can definitely have fun here and I was impressed how fast I could get a refill on my beverage throughout the night. I recommend this pub as a good place to grab some food and have a great time."
