"I live in the area and have always enjoyed having a Dollar Tree nearby. I've been disappointed the last 2 months with long lines, inept employees, and a manager who was downright rude to me for asking for boxes most stores throw away. At first I thought they just needed time to get it together, but after my experience today that is NOT the case. There were 3 people working, a line of 8 people with 1 cashier! She had a customer who was unable to pay for the items and did not know how to proceed. She called for help. The second cashier could not remember what to do to help her! The second cashier said she could help someone on the next register. The entire line BEHIND me moved to the next register! Whatever happened to "I can help the next person in line???" Then the manager came up and asked the employee what she needed help with. The manager told the cashier what to do. The employee said she didn't know how. The manager rolled her eyes as she gave the cashier step by step instruction. This cashier has been at this store longer than the manager or other cashier who was working with both of them!! Finally the line was moving! BUT there was no apology from the manager or the cashier. They've lost my business and will probably loose more as the new Dollar General moves in right next to Bi-Lo. I'd say if Dollar Tree wants to stay in business there they NEED to get a new manager that can hire people, train them well, be there to help employees, encourage them, and MOST OF ALL KEEP CUSTOMERS!!!!!"

"The store and the employees are great if you can stay away from the manager. On three separate occasions she has been exceptionally rude to me and I have seen her attitude towards others including employees. I now drive 10 mi out of my way to avoid her store. But everybody else in the store has been great."
