Lillo's Tomato Pies

"Lillo's has set the bar for cheesesteaks. It was excellent. The tomato pie was delicious too. We arrived around 1:15P and the joint was packed (for obvious reasons). Seating was a bit scarce with the seemingly endless line of patrons. That said, the kitchen kept up with all the orders and we waited much LESS time than we originally thought we would. The tables turned over fairly quickly and we got a table too. I look forward to going back! A+"

"Cheesesteak was good however it came with alot of liquid which made my bread soggy on the bottom. I ordered it to go but ate it at their outdoor seating directly outside so its not like I waited for a long period, literally as soon as it was ready, I sat down to eat. It definitely had plenty of meat. Pizza was good, the sauce was on the sweeter sude but I still enjoyed it. Will give them a second try."

"Let’s start with the namesake. The tomato pie is great. Crisp crust, flavorful sauce, and a the perfect pizza cheese. Would be my go-to spot if I lived closer. The chicken cutlet sandwich had tender chicken, surrounded with fresh peppers, tomatoes, spinach, and mozzarella. Perfect combination of texture and flavor. The cheesesteak was easily one of the top 3 I’ve ever eaten. A high quality sesame seed roll filled with a ton of savory meat, onions, and a top notch cheese sauce to bring everything together. If you live near or close to Philly, this place needs to be on your food list to try."

"This cheesesteak was LOADED with steak, the bread was perfect and the cheese was great. The pizza was also delicious. I hope these guys win the competition. Very well deserved. The food also came out extremely quick for the amount of people waiting."
