"I scheduled for a free consult. The "consult" is a meeting with a "client services coordinator," not anyone with any legal perspective. I said "I have an expectation that I will gain some perspective about my situation in whatever form that may be. If it is just to provide all information from my side, provide previous legal documents I have[,] to get nothing back, I wish to cancel the meeting." I was answered with an automated meeting cancellation notice. In short, the "free consultation" will not provide you with any kind of perspective at all on your situation. They need to stop advertising "free consult." There are other law firms I have experienced where my online form was answered quickly by the actual attorney on the website asking me to provide background information/documents electronically before they meet with me for 30 minutes for free. Real free consults do exist at other firms, not at this one."
