Lakeside Home Rentals

"I am an owner of a property that I used Lakeside to manage for my rentals. They were awful. My house was destroyed (beds broken, holes in windows, holes in walls-too many to list.) It is a large house that was perfectly decorated. I feel badly for anyone who rented it at its high price, Lakeside did nothing to upkeep it. Weeds everywhere, furniture destroyed (guests peeled the leather off of a sofa and we were never informed!) we were embarrassed when we returned to see it such a mess. We never saw a security deposit nor were informed of all the damages which we would have addressed. Someone (I’m guessing them) even tried to patch-fix beds that were broken with screws all over (I assume guests let their kids jump on them) instead of holding security deposits. For all we know, the security deposits were held but we were never privy to any information until I had people go up to look at the house. Anyway, we took our home back, gut renovated it and will never rent it out again due to our awful experience. Terrible and costly experience."

"If you want to be swindled and lied to, book with them. Dont book on Airbnb or trust their cancellation policies. They want to keep 50% of the booking even though we abided by the cancellation policy they left on Airbnb which was 14 days before check in or before December 22nd. Now they are ignoring our calls and messages. This is completely unprofessional. Dont use Airbnb they dont care about this their customers and this company is a joke. They claim that they have their own cancellation policies, which is fine, but post them on all your booking platforms, dont deceive your customers for your own profit."

"We stayed at house #629 at the Poconos. Overall, good experience. Pros: - Nice deck to the lake. - Big equipped kitchen for cooking. - Weber Grill. Cons: - House need some maintenance (you can tell several things were not maintained for along time), especially the 2 bathrooms. Also some things are broken like blinds. - There was no light outside for the deck and for the porch with the grill. There were motion based lights but they did not work properly, this was very disappointing because grilling/sitting outside after it gets dark was impossible (we grilled one nights with flashlights). We did not receive a proper response from the company/owners about this."

"Stayed at 1207. Was a beautiful view of the lake; sun early in the morning and shade in the evening. Had everything we needed and there was many things to do. Driveway was very steep so be cautious in the winter. Big beautiful kitchen table, perfect for board games and family dinners. Would absolutely come back."

"Everything was amazing! More then amazing! The house was huge and super clean! We had things that we could use that we had forgotten at home overall we all had an amazing time and it was 20 of us. We were amazed with the backyard overlooking the lake, the rooms were fully equipped, kitchen equipped, the employees at Lakeside Home Rentals were spectacular ESPECIALLY Stacey and Anthony! We will be coming back next June!! 5 STARS!"
