"I have a 2006 Scion XB with 120K miles that is starting to show signs of wear. I brought it in to Doc Auto to get a quote on several issues and left it with the very friendly, professional woman who runs the front end of the business. A day or so later, I got an estimate for a whole range of issues. At first I was taken aback by the $5,000.00 estimate, but then realized that the mechanic who did the inspection was very thorough, and found several issues that I didn't know about. He provided me with a very detailed estimate with photos and explanations for each issue. He explained that all of the issues were important, but not necessarily urgent. He did acknowledge that the Scion was a good car and I could justify putting the money towards its improvement, but never was pushy or insistent about doing the work. I have decided that rather than investing 5K in my car, I am going to start looking for a replacement. They completely respected my decision, and didn't charge me a thing for the very comprehensive inspection and estimate. They didn't get my business this time, but when something does break they surely will. 5 stars for doing business the right way!"

"They were fast, professional , and VERY accommodating! I was Offered lots food and snacks while I was waiting and the use of their shuttle car free of charge so I could get where I needed to get while they were working on my vehicle. And their prices are on par or even a little cheaper than the average shop around here I looked at. I’ll be going back when it’s time to again!"

"J.. at the front desk was really nice. She texted me with notable concerns and when my car was done. When I asked if recommendations needed to be done immediately she didn't try to sell me that it does. She politely explained the issues and then provided options that empowered me to make a decision. They have military discounts which saved me 37-47 dollars that brought the cost from 600 to the 500s..(repair axel) which was high but fixable. I appreciated her advice and excellent customer service."

"They're a bit unprofessional, took 4 yr old vehicle for emissions test. They did not advise it failed just had us pay and handed the paper work. In reading it there were some estimate of different costs, in reviewing that's how i discovered it failed. Had a failure code listed. Managed to Google it in less than a minute for full description of issue. Called them to schedule an appointment after discovering the information on the invoice. My gut feeling was something was off since they didn't say it failed and all of a sudden my engine light was on. Thankfully I didn't feed into their description of needing to find out the problem, canceled the appointment. Took it to the dealership instead for a completely free repair. They were going to charge me for a service that the manufacturer had a recall on and covered at 100%, would've paid them to fix as well. Saved me the $220 they wanted to charge to "deep dive the code" not to mention who knows how much the repair itself. Will not be using in the future."
