Lakeside Apartments

"My boyfriend and I have been here for 3 years. At first it was great and there was communication and things would be handled within an appropriate time. Now, we pay so much for our quality of life to be decreased. We can’t even use our door because the battery has been dead for days and we have put in a ticket. The battery dies every few months and takes days for it to get fixed. We don’t get warnings about construction anymore so just forget about living in a peaceful environment. At the minimum a warning would be nice so we can prepare. They care more about how the complex looks on the outside than the actual residents and their comfort. We have had people leave THEIR trash at OUR door! We cause absolutely no problems. I’m only assertive when I’m not listened to. Can’t wait for our lease to be over."

"The special activities that lakeside put on for the residents are amazing!! The cooking classes, comedy nights, and the special activities are always fun and so well organized and planned!! We always have a lot of fun and it’s been a great way to meet all our neighbors!"

"Lakeside is like living full time in a resort. The amenities are exceptional. Pretty quiet neighborhood. Ample parking. Daily trash service. Very pet friendly. The ponds and fountains make it quite peaceful and serene. We love watching the birds from our patio. Come check it out! You won’t be disappointed."

"Lakeside has been the best place I've rented in so far! I've lived here for almost 2 years now, with a recent unit transfer. The property is beautiful, I particularly love the lakes with the fountains that glow different colors depending on the seasons and holidays. In my time here, they've made a lot of upgrades to the grounds including a new dog park. They pay attention to things like desire paths, and make upgrades to ensure the experience matches the price point. I really appreciate the quality and professionalism of the maintenance team. When problems arise in my unit, I always find myself able to relax knowing that Matt and team will be there in a timely manner to fix the problem properly. As a young female I also really appreciate how trustworthy Matt and his team are, and when they do need to come out, I feel safe. In the front office, I've had nothing but a good experience working with Molly and her team. When I was going through my unit transfer, Molly walked me through the entire process and answered all the questions I had. With exceptional customer service, you can really tell Lakeside cares about you and will take care of all your needs. Overall I have had a very positive experience living at Lakeside and would definitely recommend this community to anyone looking to live in NOVA. It's definitely a place where you can kick back, enjoy some wine, and watch the sunset while you read your book and enjoy the view after work."

"Had to find an apartment during the pandemic from out of state which should have been a stressful process but Lakeside (extra shout out to Brandon) made it so easy! Move In: - The virtual tour was completely accurate to the apartment I received - Easy process to pick up keys and do a virtual check in with maintenance to learn about all the features of the apartment - Parking the trailer to unload my belongings was easy and had no issues Living there for 2 Years: - Clean, updated apartment, spacious balcony, bonus storage unit off balcony, nice appliances, loved the fireplace feature in my unit - Greatly appreciated the amenities like trash valet, updated fitness facilities, 2 pools, grills for cooking, package lockers, plenty of parking, in unit washer/dryer, etc. - All staff from maintenance to the office team were always friendly and helpful - Quiet neighborhood, never felt unsafe, and really loved going for walks around the property as it is beautifully maintained - I don't own a pet but it is a very pet friendly complex, there is a dog park - Located within walking distance to Giant & Starbucks in the Centrewood Plaza and Centre Ridge Marketplace, near a bus stop, easy access to I 66, etc. - Lakeside frequently went above and beyond to host various events from gardening, to kids crafts to happy hours to food trucks Move Out: - So sad to have to leave, only leaving due to need another location otherwise I would have continued my time at Lakeside. I am staying in the Bozzuto management family as my experience has been so great - Turning in keys was a smooth process - Have not yet received my security deposit (which they do state takes a few weeks) so I will update how that process goes"
