"I recently took my car to Hendrick's for my AC that stopped working. They charged $1300 for a new compressor. The AC worked for about an hour and then stopped. When I took it back to them, they told me it would be another $600-$700 to replace the expansion valve. When I inquired if that was the original issue and why it wasn't fixed in the first place, I received a rude response. Not wanting to give them anymore of my money to gamble if they actually knew what the problem was this time, I took my car to another shop. The other shop let me know that the expansion valve was fine but there were 2 other valves in the system that were leaking....total was $150 and the AC is now working great. I will no longer be taking my car to Hendrick's and will not recommend them to anyone else. Whether it was incompetence or greediness...the customer service and car service I received were unacceptable."
