"1/29/2023 Update: This lady is still so rude. She accused me of stealing, which I had the receipt from the other store. The receipt was on top of my groceries in view and she still didn't believe me because she wanted to look through it. I knew she was going to start with me when she started buying us and looking at the camera at the same time. If she was polite about it then I wouldn't have minded but she was anything but polite. I'll be shopping everywhere else but there. June 2023 Disgusted with the way a Hispanic lady who works at Family Dollar, treated a customer applying for a job there. She was yelling about how much he smelled to everyone there, then laughing about him. It was my first time at the store and I couldn't believe my ears. I had no problem with the teenager working with her, he helped me find things in the store. I'm just wondering if the rest of your staff is like that as well. Shame on her for yelling like that. The man did have a strong smell but she could have whispered to him about it instead of yelling about it, then laughing about it. Disgusting behavior. I'm never coming back."

"Always organized and a very friendly and inviting staff. The manager went out of her way to assist me in finding the items I needed."

"I was in store two days in a row when customers had to wait for the clerk who was a little way off stocking shelves saying she'd be right there. Is it good business to make customers wait when shelves can be stocked anytime?"

"Vanessa should pick up some skills in costumer service. She’s loud and absolutely rude to customers. One of the most vile people that I’ve had the disservice of meeting. I’ve shopped at this Family dollar for years now, and I’ve seen her oftentimes being moody and disrespectful to her employees. I guess it makes sense why the store has a high turnover rate. Family Dollar, please hire competent managers who have some customer service skills. I don’t know what home-issues she has, but she needs to learn how to separate between home-life and work-life. I will take my business elsewhere. I don’t appreciate being yelled at due to approaching her over an issue of her yelling at my special needs child who tried to purchase cigarettes for me. He’s 23, and she had sold him cigarettes just a few days before, with NO issue with his ID. However, this time, she bothered to check the ID to see it was expired. She berated him and blatantly yelled at him in front of everyone in the store. She makes a scene all the time, but this time it’s personal. I am a disabled veteran and I’ve served my country. To have an illiterate manager, who has NO volume control, berating her customers and employees, it’s personal. I spend hundreds of dollars a week in this store — never again. Her entire issue with the matter is that I approached her. You need to train your people a little more. Your turnover is extremely evident now. And, as I’m walking out of the store, she yells “well I wouldn’t send my son to buy me cigarettes!!” And then turns to the customers in line and yells at them my business and tried to excuse her behavior. She has no professional etiquette."
