"This was a great unexpected sandy beach along the bay. The water is fairly shallow and much warmer than actual ocean beach water. There were also gentle waves. You're supposed to make a reservation since parking is limited and monitored by what looks like the local sheriff's department. It was not crowded at all and there are showers and bathrooms."

"I love this place. It's perfect for little kids and has just the right amount of amenities with nature. You have to get a free pass online for weekends and holidays but that's perfect because it doesn't get insanely crowded. There's a big beach toy bin and a large playground for the kids. Really appreciate the picnic tables under the shade of trees. We got to see some awesome wildlife too (the osprey were hunting for fish)."

"I was invited to officiate a friend's wedding, and it was just the perfect spot! Very peaceful and cute beach park. Friendly Ranger. Beautiful Sunset. I will definitely go back. ⚠️ Be careful while walking, as the official nature residents use the grass as their bathroom... Wear bug spray to help avoid the local tiny ninjas' painful bites. Limited parking. Follow me in IG @amorcelebrantdmv"

"We had family reunion couple times in here. Love it. Use parking pass to control the number so it won't too crowded. Shower room, restroom, you don't need worry anything. Kids play on beach so joyful."

"This is a nice little area to spend an afternoon relaxing in the sun. Since it's bay water it's very shallow which is great for kids and also warmer than the ocean. Make sure you bring your own food and beverage as there is none available at the park. The park had plenty of room to space out and despite being small, it didn't feel crowded. There are bathrooms, showers, and a playground as well, along with plenty of trees around if you need a break from the sun. Remember to book your pass online in order to visit. It's free to do, but if you don't have it they will turn you away."
