Ledo Pizza

"I give this a 3/5 for a few reasons but I first want to say I ordered 2 meals. Meal 1: Hot Italian Cold Cut sub was delicious, I would give that a 4.5/5. The bread was good and ratio of meat to bread. Will order again for sure. Meal 2: cheeseburger pizza I'd give a 1/5. The meat on the pizza was fine, however the sauce or whatever the topping was so overwhelming. It made the entire thing taste like mustard, overuling any burger like taste. We had 4 family members who weren't even part of the order blindingly taste it, and they all responded with asking us if it was a Mustard pizza, if that tells you anything. Aside from that the dough of the pizza was just a plain Jane. Nothing bad but nothing unique. Overall the sub was great. Cheeseburger pizza is a hard pass."

"This was probably the worst pizza I have ever had. The crust was like a cracker - thin, dry, and crunchy. Also, I ordered roma tomatoes on my pizza and they put really thick (like at least 1/3 inch) slices on it. The sauce was way too sweet, and despite there not being that much cheese, the pizza was insanely greasy. Will not be going back."

"Another mediocre to below average experience at this Ledo. I will say that when the owner is there, he's on top of everything. When the younger manager is there... It's the opposite. As a former GM for Ledo I have high expectations, but I'm also very forgiving about things that happen in restaurants. We walked in at 8:30pm this evening, excited to eat... Only to be told that the dining room was closed (without any actual reason). The waitress had obviously made more then enough money today, but she had to ask the young man in charge why the dining room was closed. I'm not sure what the point is when you run a business, but don't want to serve your customers. We went to order for carry-out. It seemed pricey compared to what I expected. While my wife went to the restroom, I used the website to check on the exact order (and found that online it was $3 cheaper). My wife came back from the restroom to let me know that she was lucky enough to use the last 2 squares of TP. I really wish there was consistency in the way this place was run... Unfortunately the majority of our trips end in disappointment. The owner seems to be there during the daytime, but when he leaves it's obvious that the kids run the daycare."

"Not always the best experience at this Ledo's. They advertised iced tea in full size menu cards but when I ordered an unsweet tea, I was told they didn't have any. HUH?! We decided to change to carryout and go home so I could have iced tea (the only beverage I drink with meals). Also, they had 2 TVs playing loudly and competing with each other. When we explained this , noting was done so we moved to a quieter table in the back. Also, it usually smells like strong cleanser...this perfume scent does not go well with food and makes me wonder what they are spraying in there. I once received a pizza that actually tasted like the cleanser. YUCK! Our server was super-nice, but for all the other reasons we are rethinking going back here."

"Unfortunately no wait service at this location. Maryland style pizza that has close to 20 locations within Maryland. Pastry dough style pizza with provolone cheese in lieu of mozzarella cheese. Square pies only. Very different than classic style pizza. Sauce has that hint of sweetness without it being overbearing. Definitely gets a 7.9. The buffalo chicken pizza gets a 8.2. Definitely a must try for those who don't live in Maryland. Pizza Friday in Maryland for this out of towner was a hit."
