About the Business
Kidzden is a fun and exciting children's party venue located at 4901 Tesla Drive in Bowie, Maryland, United States. Our parties are two hours long, with the first hour dedicated to playtime without room access, followed by 40 minutes of celebration in the Party Room. Guests must exit the room after 40 minutes, but can return to playing if we are not at capacity. A deposit is required at the time of booking, with the final balance due on the day of the party. "Once a 5 star review. Unfortunately time, unprofessional staff, no maintenance, no cleanliness, and saftey issues nearly a year later make this a spot I no longer go. Did they just give up on this place? They obviously never wash surfaces. Food and trash can be found everywhere. Storage is underneath the slides, but they leave bags where children can access them in play areas. I had to move 3 jumbo bags of linen to keep them from the kids. Big saftey issues, the slides aren't bolted in correctly. With the gap between the slide and floor, my son got his foot caught. I had to run up and get this foot loose while calming him down. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Vacuum was just laying on the floor with the cord all over the place. Trash cans full. Considering we were the only customers during our two hour visit this was in acceptable. Broken equipment everywhere. The solo staff was arguring with a family member on her cell phone which was awkward. She kept saying she was busy at work but her butt never left her chair or phone. There was ample cleanup she could have been doing instead."
"First time there. Place was bigger than I had imagined. It was clean and equipment seemed properly maintained and nothing was torn nor broken. There is no baby area. I'd say best for 18 months up to age 5. Not a place for school ages. Staff was friendly. Entrance was clean. Plenty of seating for adults to sit while kids play. We will return."
"This is a great place to take your small children. You can have birthday parties here and they also offer free play for a price. The facilities are clean, and the kids just run wild. I think when you rent a party room and they have various sizes that you can add pizza. They also decorate the rooms for you as well."
"We had a super time working with Ms. Charlotte to host our 4-yr-old’s birthday party at Kidzden. The decorations were beautiful for our Princess Peach theme, the pizza was on time, and the entire staff was welcoming and accommodating, especially Ella. Our guests - 27 kids and their parents - had a total blast. Thanks for such a great experience!!!"
