"I just bought a car and I’m already having problems. There’s lots of paint nicks, one the size of my thumb, but I do understand that’s on me for not looking closer at the car. The main issue is my car is drinking gas like an alcoholic, I’m currently getting 14 combined and the combined for my M235i should be 26 which you can look up on google if you’d like. I also checked the fuel gauge to make sure it wasn’t just the computer going crazy; I made a 7 mile round trip and used a whole gallon, so the computer is pretty accurate. I contacted my sales consultant Jim when I bought the car, really nice guy by the way, I was then told they didn’t know what the problem could be and that they would try to figure out what was wrong, so I waited a week and nothing happened; I contacted Jim again and still no idea for a fix. Jim asked me to trouble shoot the problem myself by using up what gas I had left and topping it off and see what the computer said after that. I followed the directions and even reset the computer before I filled it up just to be sure, but it read 14 as before. When I bought the car I was stoked about it and Jim really impressed me with his performance and good attitude, which seems to be lacking at most car dealerships you go to now adays. I’m quite young and the goal was a car that would be good on gas for work and college, but the car is not meeting those goals. I will update if the issue is resolved. I finally decided to bring it over and Sergio helped me out and solved the problem. It just felt like no body believed me"
