"I’m disappointed with this company and I would suggest using someone else if possible. First, I chose a wire transfer to get my money faster and because of a personal situation that I am in. The money was delayed. (Which happens) It took a few phone calls and follow up emails by both my realtor and myself to spark the title company to follow up with the bank to finally fund my account. This shouldn’t have had to happen. Money should have hit my account upon opening of the business day. Instead it took caressing and multiple calls to get it by the end of the business day. There is no sense in paying a wire fee if the mailed check would have arrived at practically the same time. We closed the previous day. No biggie. These things happen. it’s a part of business. However a couple of things that were said and done were unprofessional during the process of remediating the situation. Next, Connie was extremely rude by telling me I should have been at closing if I wanted my money right away. The tone was not needed. Closings do not require the presence of the buyer or seller in order for a wire to arrive on time, and the comment was backhanded. She essentially blamed me, for their lack of execution. That is unacceptable. My newborn was born 45 days early and I have been in the NICU with my warrior fighting and could not attend closing. Mechanisms are set up to accommodate these kind of situations. How dare she tell me where I “should have been”. I was where I needed to be. Third, once the wire was received. She called to confirm with me, and upon saying that I received the wire, hung up the phone abruptly while I was speaking. Not only is this unacceptable but it’s also extremely unprofessional. No need to be rude when a customer is following up regarding a lot of money. Companies should be professional and act like adults when handling a customer who is anxious and even testy about a large sum of money. Had the money been deposited when it should have been, all this could have been avoided."
