"Inefficient and under trained staff. I was asked to come before 4 pm on any day to get my notary done. It is 3pm right now and they don't have staff to do a notary. When asked about the miscommunication, instead of apologizing, the staff member talks philosophy about life and death."

"Hours posted online are wrong; no hours are posted on the actual business. Store was supposed to open at 9. I arrived around 9:30 and waited 30 minutes for the store to actually open at 10. The employee arrived at 10:05 and leisurely took their time opening as a long line immediately formed of people who had been waiting outside. The employee had trouble with the computer system and asked everyone with dropoff packages to step aside and wait *again* while they served everyone else in the line. So what should have taken about 2 minutes - dropping off a pre-labeled package - ended up taking over an hour. I eventually just put my package on the counter and walk out."

"I am updating my review made about 2 years ago during an ownership change. For people who might be confused, the location is inside the Student Union (stamp) building. On the first level around the corner from the food court. Updated review: they have improved very well, I am hearing that package update emails are being sent out for people who own boxes at the center, the store is more efficient, and before I left Maryland, I remember things were basically back to normal. I think the new ownership just needed some extra time to properly transition. But back during the "transition period" 1 to 2 years ago, I was quite frustrated because it had been months and i owned a box, so i was in there very often, and there had definitely been problems, including not sending notifications regarding package deliveries to box holders. Management did leave a reply to me here that they had improved things since my original review, and I am happy to say it really has. I have increased from 2 stars to 4 stars. Original review from 2 years ago: This is in a good location, and the staff here are awesome. I've been a customer for years. Unfortunately ever since this location has been bought by a new owner, package updates and many helpful features have disappeared and it's been months. This is a very common complaint now (just check yelp for this location, the reviews have become abysmal). New owner doesn't seem to care, no updates about this have been made. "I've been into this UPS store a number of times while getting ready for my study abroad, mailing packages and letters to family and friends, for other day-to-day reasons. Almost every time I come in I feel unsure of just how each mailing process works and am nervous that I won't be able to communicate what I need to be done. However, every time I've been in this year I've been greeted by Patricia's warm and welcoming smile and she has been AMAZING in helping me to get in and out of the UPS store, feeling confident that any important documents or letters will reach their destination without hassle. Last week I came in to get a cash order and was short the three dollars needed to pay the processing fee. Patricia, without skipping a beat, offered to pay it for me and have me venmo her to avoid having to go back to the ATM. I was so impressed with her kindness and amazing customer service, by her going that extra step to make my life just a little easier I felt so much better about the entire process and left feeling cared about and heard on a human level."
