"Homeless sleep here in the park on benches or set up tents overnight . A hop skip and jump away is "tent city" where even more homeless are. Right next to the Montgomery County Community Collrge Yes they live under tarps and tents!! They are definitely selling drugs out of this place. It is disgustingly dirty and there's trash everywhere. People walking in and out of this Tent City who are definitely on drugs . They look like zombies and carry backpacks. I've seen a guy flip out and throw his bike. Stay away it's not safe."
"This was once a great park, still is a good park to hangout during the day. Not a good place to hang at night as there can be mischief. There are many benches and open views of the river. Great for a scenic walk in the park or bike ride, the river trail goes directly through the park."
"Nice macadam trail through entire wooded route good for biking. Walking.. family quiet time or just to enjoy the beauty that instantly cuts uoff from the world outside"
"This place is beautiful refreshing and fun! A book cabinet is out front to donate free books even canned food and diapers are there sometimes. In the winter someone knits scarves and puts then in there. It's kept very clean and is a charming little piece of natural escape in a historic overcrowded town."
