The UPS Store

"I went to this store to get something notarized on a Saturday and it was very crowded with a line outside the door. I understand that, especially on the weekend. When I entered the store, there were 2 people working at the counter. One was helping someone and talking to that customer like they were best friends, ignoring the fact that there was a line out the door. Once he finished with that customer at least 15 minutes later, he went to the back of the store and disappeared. The other younger person was left alone to deal with the crowd of people. I waited 30 minutes for my turn and said I needed to get something notarized and he told me to sign the forms and someone would be me shortly. After about 15 minutes, I asked how if he notary knew I was there and he said yes. A few minutes later, the older gentleman came out and I asked him if he was the notary and he said the notary does not work until Monday at 1. So I waited 45 minutes for nothing and I work on Mondays. I was beyond angry. If the notary is not there all the time, there should be a sign or something on the website that displays the notary hours. I will never go to this location again."

"While waiting to drop off a package, a staff member loudly berated another staff member in front of about half a dozen customers. He then continued on a temper tantrum behind the counter for another few minutes. Quite frankly, it was very disquieting and I nearly considered leaving and going to the Towson UPS store. The same employee could then barely muster a word to me when I left my package with him. I'd say I can't believe how low we've stooped in terms of customer service but it's 2023 so it appears the race to the bottom continues here. Avoid this store and just go to Towson. UPS, you should seriously consider who is wearing your uniform and representing your brand because the staff at this store are an embarrassment."

"There is an employee at this location named John and I can confidently say that this dear man does not get paid enough. Twice now, I have haphazardly brought an ungodly amount of Amazon returns. Not only that, but my QR codes were a mess and I did not have them matched to my products. Both times he has chugged his mango Pepsi in preparation to take care of my large order with zeal. Truly, more businesses could use customer service like his and I am so appreciative that he was there to assist me."

"UPS in Lutherville/Timonium is my GO TO place for all Amazon returns. I have been going to this location for the last approximately four years. They have a guy who works there (I think John?) who is so quick and patient (when I am trying to figure out which code goes to which package). I used to hate doing returns, but at this location, things move so quickly that I will even stop in when I am in a rush since I know I will get out super fast!"

"I am thrilled with this UPS location! Especially JOHN...he is quick, patient and efficient! The only reason I don't mind buying on Amazon is because I know I can return things quickly. Even my children give me their items to return because they know I will do returns for them (but only on days I work near the UPS in Lutherville Timonium). Thank you, John! You deserve a raise! :)"
