"So the simple explanation is departing from station the first class car is behind the lead engine but then the open, stand up one is the caboose. It rides out to the turn around point. Then first class is caboose and open cart is behind the engine. First class cars didn’t look much different just velour instead of vinyl. The do have an upgrade in heat or ac. That’s on the website. Even though it was only 50f the coach car started to get hot from sunlight. So don’t worry too much about 1st class The cars are very basic and a little run down. Plenty of staff to monitor safety. I highly recommend the stand up open air car"
"Train ride was nice and relaxing. We paid for the first class fall foliage ride and the guide was so kind and informative. The only downside for me was it being 3 hrs long."
"From the gift shop to the cafe to the train ride, the people were welcoming and answered questions. We had a large group with a lot of chatting, so we missed some of the announcements. It was a beautiful fall ride. We saw a lot of this areas history. It was memorable!"
"It was fun to take the train ride and hear the history of Oil Creek. Not a lot to the museum and gift shop. The Railway Post Office car was kind of neat. Didn't care for the snack selection."
"Definitely love the train ride. Very quiet and peaceful. The only down side is when it's loaded full of people and they let them get up and move around they do it allot. Constantly back and forth, back and forth. Such a disruption and it's the same people over and over again, like they have to make ten trips to the snack cart. Santa ride wasn't too bad. But paying 25 for that, um no thanks. All in all good time"
