"If you like the smell of a great pizza shop hitting you in the face when you walk in and then getting handed a seriously good pizza, then this place is for you! We haven't found such a good pizza place in a long time. We don't come to Lawrenceville often, but when we do, it's now totally cause of Pizza Lupo. It smelled so good I didn't even think to take a picture of the whole pie."
"You can tell these guys take their craft seriously. Honestly the best pie I’ve ever had in western PA. I love pizza and while Pittsburgh isn’t lacking in pizzerias they are in artisanal shops. Everything was lights out on our order. The crust is perfectly fermented. Crisp, light and airy but with good chew and the right amount of char. The sauce was wonderful and the blend of cheeses hit the spot. I also ordered the meatballs which were tender and came with a flavorful sauce with a bit of ricotta. This just became my number one joint. Can’t wait to try the grandma pies."
"Hands down the best pizza we’ve had in Pittsburgh. The dough is substantial but not doughy with a great undercarriage. The crust is a beautiful blend of fluffy, charred, and crispy. A little on the expensive side, but absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!!!"
