"The place really needs an overhaul. Better sheets. Pots were scratched. Gas pilot was too high. Made the room hot. Toilet was miniature and loose. Get a cleaning crew."

"Cabin 3 had a strong musty odor. Refrigerator was not operational but a working unit was provided after we brought it to their attention. Room deodorizer was sprayed on carpet by housekeeping in response to odor complaint. This odor persisted throughout our 3 night stay & became worse when the heat was on."

"We rented a three bedroom cabin. The location was great - just a short drive to attractions for the kids and to the river for rafting, canoeing, etc. The one thing that detracted a little was the lack of basics - trashbags, etc. There were not many cooking utensils which might come in handy for a family staying a week. I would recommend it highly to others. It seems these cabins are some of the better ones in the Cook Forrest."

"This was our second time staying at the cabins. The cabins were fantastic as usual - so clean and cozy and come with everything you need. I also really appreciated their pandemic procedures. They made sure that check-in was easy and their entire staff were conscientious of safety protocols. If you need a getaway but are worried of catching/spreading the virus, this is the best way to get away from home for a bit. Thank you so much!"

"This was our first time here. The cabin was very very clean when we came in. Everything inside the cabin worked, toilet, sinks, stove, coffee maker, toaster, lights, and so on. They leave you little sheets on how to operate the TV and cable if you need it. Fire wood was clean and nice and dry. I wish I could tell you something we didn't like, but there is none. The only I mean only thing that I wish was different is I wished they would of gave us another skillet. ( They give you all the dishes and pots and pans) We have 4 kids and when trying to make bacon, hash browns, and eggs having another skillet would of been nice. 100% we will come back here."
