Cocoplum Appliances

"Four years ago I purchased all my appliances from Cocoplum and until now I have not had enough good things to say about them. However about a week ago the Halogen Lights in my Hood Vent Fan both went out and needed to be removed and replaced. Easy enough to replace them, I thought. I was proactive and had purchased the bulbs, I was set. So I tried and tried to unscrew the existing bulbs, that came with the Zephyr Hood Vent Fan. I could not get enough purchase to unscrew them. So I called a neighbor and he helped me for an hour. He also was unable to unscrew them. So I called to ask for Service Support. I had to wait, in my dark kitchen, for over a week for a Service Person to come, schedule the whole thing. He arrived at the end of the day around 4 PM on a Friday. It took him 5 minutes, he said he had "big hands" and a knack. And I paid $150. for a Service Call. I am not happy and I have light. It just seems proportionally wrong. I got an appointment that was not "months out" as another appointment was "close by." I live in downtown Burlington. So I wanted to warn all ignorant shoppers to beware of these lights, which I believe are in all such fans."

"Should have known the customer service was going to be poor within the first 27 seconds of the confirmation call. "Roger" I believe was our contact who came to the house, and when I confirmed who I was on the phone, his response was "Can I talk now?" as if I was bombarding him with information (I had just confirmed our name, address and appointment time). When he arrived, he told my husband our filter wasn't "nearly clean enough" which was why our sensor on our dryer was constantly beeping. I have attached a photo of the old filter (LEFT) and new filter that "Roger" installed (RIGHT). I'm not an expert, but seems to me there is quite a lot more debris on the *NEW* filter he installed. Total cost for this visit was $300. Never once on the phone did "Roger" suggest we try purchasing a new filter (about $45) instead of paying the hefty $300 total fee for his visit. Service was rude at best. Suffice to say we'll start self-educating on dryer mechanics to avoid this company ever again."

"Update: Coco plum made it right! We were able to swap out our dishwasher with a new one with minimal questions asked. Will be giving them more business.. I misjudged, thank you Patrick! Original: So disappointed; invested in a new Miele dishwasher still in crate got it home and went to install and there was significant damage that would affect the function … the whole machine is warped"

"Chris and Brad just delivered my new Liebherr refrigerator, purchased at Cocoplum. They were terrific! Chris and Brad took equal care with the refrigerator, my home, and furnishings. They set up and explained all the special features of the Liebherr and made sure I know how to use the controls. They even put back the hanging flower pots that had to be removed to get the fridge into the house. Hands down the best possible delivery experience!"
