Rutland Transit Center LAZ Parking

"During the winter season, I was never able to enter their waiting room. More than waiting on the outskirts. Not comfortable at all."

"A well-run place as far as I can tell. Austere and drab, buy what parking garage isn't? The ticket system is nice, especially since you can't get to the upper floors without a ticket (good for personal security)."

"I entered my credit card at the entrance which is used as a "ticket" so when I use it at another terminal to get out I can get charged appropriately. Went up the ramp. Parked. Went to an event up the street. About two hours later I returned to locked doors. They make you walk to a separate building where it it also is locked but has a place to enter your "ticket" (credit card). I put the same card in. The terminal didn't recognize it! I panicked. I tried a few more times. Didn't recognize my card. Finally it prompted me to call support. I tapped the button and it unlocked the door. Went up a flight of stairs to nothing. Went up another flight to a locked door; finally after one or two more flights I got to an exit that brings people to the actual parking garage. My car at this point was two levels DOWN. Didn't want to chance walking across the lot to the other stairwell just to be locked back out, so I walked the length of the parking garage two more times, down the ramps, to my car. The exit out is closed with a garage door but it at least opened up for me. The terminal at the exit actually recognized my card and I got out. The parking is cheap. It cost me $3. However, don't park here. It ruined my morning."

"It's cheap. It's clean. It's covered. It's centrally located. It's well lit. It's secure. I don't know why more people don't use this parking garage (but I appreciate all the available spots they leave for me). I would like to be able to use contactless payment with my phone, though. Note: I did have trouble getting back into one of the locked doors with my credit card one time, so now I just get the printed ticket to scan and it's not a problem."
