"I have been taking my standard poodle to the Pooch Parlor for years. They have always done a wonderful job. I have friends that have taken their dogs to other places around town that did a horrible job with them, and have way over charged! They are all now going to the Pooch Parlor. To comment on the other two posts, I wonder what kind of condition their dogs hair was in? I suspect it was matted and shaving the dog was the only option. I have seen some of the other dogs that have been there when I drop mine off and you would not believe the condition some of these dogs are in! Some of these people bring their dog in with hair matted to the skin and expect someone to just comb it out! Do you have any idea how much that will hurt the dog? She is not a magician!"
