"On Saturday October 8th alumni from the graduating class of 1975 were treated to a tour of BHS. I think I can speak for all those who attended and say that we were totally blown away in how our school has changed in the past 47 years. This small review cannot justify how we felt at seeing how progressive Beekmantown has become. From offering programs where students can assist other students with the "BEEK SQUAD" to the technology given to those who wish pursue a career in the trades, to the Advanced Placement for the college bound students and to the programs for the Special Needs kids, Beekmantown seems to have ALL student needs covered. The entire BCS campus, indoors and outdoors, we felt could be the absolute best in the county. I can also rival some small colleges. What other school can say that so many kids are ready for their post high school life. We all would like to thanks Principal Matt Bezio for taking the time for this outstanding tour. It is really nice to know that our kids are getting the best tax money can buy. When a school district provides the tools and infrastructure needed for teachers to provide for the best education we end up with students bound for success."
