UVM Medical Center Urgent Care - Colchester

"Doctor (possibly NP, older lady) wasn't very helpful. Brought my partner who was very sick. Suggested a medication (non narcotic) that had helped her in the past. Basically told she doesnt do that and gave home remedies. I’m not a doctor so I could have understood that, but she made bizarre claims about the medication that were false as if she didn’t know what it was. Maybe she was thinking of a different medication but either way I’d rather not take my chances there. Three stars because rest of staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Have been here many times for myself and my kids, a great option if you need treatment over the weekend / evening and can’t get in to see you primary care provider or if you need stitches, better option than the ER. Wait times very but they do prioritize more urgent needs I think, normally have not had to wait too long."

"4 Hours for an ear infection?!?! Idk what happened this place use to be the best place to go. Use to get you in quick and generally care about their patients. BUT 4 hours!! I guess I’ll take my chances at the ER next time.."

"I was seen at Fanny Allen Urgent Care last Sunday for multiple dog bite wounds to my face and hand. I received exceptional and very professional care throughout my entire stay. The MA team cleansed and irrigated my wounds immediately and carefully. The PA-C was very kind and knowledgeable, extremely skilled at suturing, and did a thorough patient education session about complications to monitor for during my recovery. I am a nurse and greatly appreciate the Fanny Allen Urgent Care team.Thank you."
