"My son has been going here since he was born (he's 5) Whenever he's sick and needs to be seen asap they always get me in quick."

"I had a doctor's appointment scheduled for my daughter today. She's very sick and needed to see them. We came in 10 minutes early just to sit here for an entire half hour watching people that came in after us get seen before her that had appointments after her. When I asked what was going on they stated they were low staff & that someone should be out to get her "soon" but that's no excuse to make my sick daughter wait in a waiting room watching other kids come in and out being seen before her. 20 minutes after her appointment time i decided we needed to leave. I also feel unwell and decided we did not need to stay any longer. Will not be using this pediatric anymore."

"My experiences there as a kid were ok, but to get ahold of my paperwork so I can transfer doctors is insane. I have called several times and asked if there was anyway I can get a hold of those, and I would either be directed to voicemail or told the person that would do that is not in today. I was even told to make an account within the patient portal to access them, but it says I need a pass code in order to sign up. Which I can only get from the person I'm trying to call... If it weren't for the fact I am hours and hours away from Plattsburgh, I would just visit in person."

"My experience with Mountain View pediatrics with my newborn daughter was great until it came to her insurance coverage. Being 7 weeks old, and a single mom I was working on obtaining an affordable insurance for my daughter. Due to her lack of coverage they refused to see her or give her shots. Mind you they informed of this in front of a while waiting room. I asked to speak to them in private to let them know my situation and the actions I was taking and they told me no. Then, While trying to work out the kinks in her insurance and communicating with the office, I was completely disrespected by one of the office members. Like put on hold while speaking and hung up twice disrespected. Once her insurance was active I called said person back with the ID number to let her know she could bill for previous visits and that I was switching offices and she wished me luck (with a snarky attitude ), and informed me it was they’re policy.I explained to her my frustrations and why I was switching and she hung up on me again. I understand health care is a business and They have to ensure payment but at Mountain View this takes presidency over the child’s health and well being. I Also understand the office has policy’s to ensure said regulations with payment, etc. however, I’m not sure the offices policy entails being sarcastic and rotten. My daughter and I are way to happy to deal with such miserable people."
