"Went to this station about 10 min before close, was on e, it was the only gas station mentioned on the sign and the next exit wasn’t for 7 miles. Gas just wouldn’t pump. I tried two different pumps and nothing would come out despite my card being approved. The worker inside just stood there as the pumps didn’t work. I was at the pumps farthest away from the entrance. I got in my car, was gonna drive to the closer pumps and yell in that the pumps didn’t work but the second I closed my car door they turned all the lights off on me. This was a few minutes left before close. Never offered any help with the pumps. It’s pretty clear the pumps weren’t working as I tried 2 and 0 gallons came out. In my experience as a former gas station worker it tells you what’s going on at the pumps so I assume they knew between me trying two different pumps and my clear exasperation. Luckily there WAS another gas station just down the street, a shell, and even though they’re closed the pumps work. Could’ve wound up stranded in between exits. If you get off the highway take a right instead of a left despite the sign only saying there is gas one way. It’s cheaper there too."
