"Great local bookstore with a huge and varied selection. I really enjoy grabbing a drink at their Cafe and spending an afternoon browsing. They also have a really great kids section. They can close on the early side so make it an afternoon activity! Lots of sales, points and perks! My most previous visit I was able to get a free audio book through a QR code on one of their shelves."

"Gibson’s is hands down the best bookstore I have ever been to, and I have shopped lots other bookstores in the past. Their staff is extremely helpful and truly go out of the way to find what you are looking for. I needed a book that I have had issues finding as it has been out of print for quite a while now. They found me a used copy on the secondary market, the book they found me was actually in new condition and honestly looks like never touch. Special orders quickly received, also great recommendations as well from their employees, Service you can’t get with a big box bookstore or online bookstore. If you want the best service, knowledge, and selection, then you need to make your way to Gibson’s."

"Gibson's goes above and beyond! I ordered a cocktail book, written by one of my cocktail heroes, online through the author's website. The link said I'd receive a signed copy of the book; I left a note on my order stating that I looked forward to the signed copy. It turns out that they'd run out of signed copies, but instead of telling me no more were available, someone from Gibson's reached out to me. They said they were out of signed copies, but that they would reach out to the author to see if he could come sign a few more. Soon after, a signed copy arrived in the mail! I am so impressed that they (and J.M. Hirsch!) went above and beyond for me and my love of a good cocktail. (Also, the book is fantastic!) I live allll the way out in Arizona, but someday when I make it to Concord NH, I look forward to visiting Gibson's Independent Bookstore."

"Best day ever! Never been before but they brought in one of my favorite authors for a stop on her book tour. The bookstore wasn't huge and I loved it cuz it made it more intimate. There was one 100 people but definitely didn't feel like it. It happened after they closed so no one would interrupt the experience. They also set up pre orders for her next book so I'll be back down on November to pick it up. I hope they get to have more events like this. I traveled from Maine and will definitely do it again"
