"I had the absolute worst hair color experience of my life just before my son's wedding. I went back a week later for her to "fix" the nightmare color and she only made it worse. I had to go to another salon to have it fixed the day before the wedding it was so horrible. Never again."

"The assistant hairdresser did an excellent job on my hair and was very patient. She also wore a mask. However I felt very uncomfortable here because the majority of the people in the space were not wearing masks. I did not feel safe here and will not support this business again, even after the pandemic subsides."

"LOVE this place! Masks aren't required (nor are they if you are eating in a restaurant) If you are overly terrified of COVID I would not go anywhere or do anything. I'm not. The team is professional and polite , prices are a little higher than I used to pay but what price can you put on a great haircut that gets compliments wherever you go?"

"Fair warning: this salon is not requiring staff or customers to wear masks. They are leaving it up to customers to 'decide' whether masks are necessary for themselves or staff. I was in the salon in October, wearing a mask - as did my stylist. I gradually realized that the 3-4 other people in the space (one staff and customers) we're all un-masked. I felt incredibly surprised and unsafe. When I recently called to make another appointment, but first shared that experience had been concerning and I hoped it was a mistake - the staff told me 'customers decided the health policy' for the business, 'it wasn't a law, merely a mandate' (hilarious thing to say if it wasn't so serious) and that Covid-19 spreads by "droplets" (it doesn't) "not" by aerosol transmission (it does). Her point being that social distance alone stops the spread of covid-19 when you are inside - it doesn't. What I didn't tell her was that I'm a cancer survivor with asthma, and am very worried about getting sick...but somehow I didn't get the feeling she would've cared."

"Loved it here so much!!! Shelby was super kind, cut and layered my hair perfectly. Sometimes my wavy/curly hair can be unruly and hard to comb/brush and I'm always scared cause some hair dressers will just hack through it, but she was very nice and knew exactly how to treat my hair. I'm so very happy with my first time here, I will be back!! She also did my hair quick, blow dried through and straightened it which I haven't seen my crazy hair straightened in ages so it was so awesome to see my hair like that again. Definitely felt brand new even if I only got a small cut/layers, everything was perfect. The building Desire Hair Designs sits in I never knew existed before my visit! But inside the Hair Salon is so beautiful and makes you feel like royalty in a way, haha. Thank you again!!"
