"The owners/managers are super nice but some of the waiting staff were too slow or overwhelmed! The Cob Salad was very fresh and tasty and good portion, the appetizers (nachos, wings , Brussels, fried cauliflower) were ok"
"The food was awful as well as the service. Went here because the reviews looked good. I never complain about anything as I am and have been a waitress for years and understand how things can be but I was disgusted by this place. Took the waitress more than 10-15 minutes to even come to our table which I totally understand if it's busy but besides my boyfriend and I there was only one other table of two ladies in the ENTIRE restaurant. The food was disgusting I couldn't even rlly eat it. The chicken was straight rubber and their fries sucked. Very disappointed with the food and service. Wasted our time and money here tonight which sucked because we are here for a small vacation and want to experience good food."
"Our family had dinner here after a hike up the Pinnacle. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Our food came out in a timely manner and everything was good. I had a burger which was cooked perfectly to the temperature that I ordered. The beer and Margaritas were tasty. We will definitely go back again."
"This MCs Penalty Box was such a great place. We have been on the road for a month and all I wanted was a GOOD hamburger. Well at MCs I got a PERFECT hamburger - The wings we ordered were excellent as well. The staff and clientele sitting at the bar with us made it a PERFECT evening. Everyone should eat here! "We're lucky to have MCs Penalty Box located right next door to Umiak Outdoor Outfitters. It's been a wonderful and consistent choice for our staff to have lunch. Prices are reasonable for the area, and service is prompt and attentive. Overall, MCs Penalty Box is a solid choice for a casual meal in Stowe!"
