"Beautiful view but that very steep hill is dangerous for handicapped using a cane. It would be helpful if there was a handrail to hold onto for safety. Not Wheelchair friendly not walker friendly either."
"It's a bit of an awkward, but short, uphill drive, yet so very worth it for the views of Fort Ticondaroga, not to mention beautiful Vermont and Lake Champlain. It does cost money if you do only Mount Defiance, but it is included with the admission cost for Fort Ticonderoga. They give you a gold token that you put in at the gate."

"This is a really great spot to come see some views of Vermont, mountains, and lake Champlain. It's an easy drive to the top with a bit of parking. The walk to the summit is less than a few hundred feet from the parking area. There is a nice Pavillion at the summit that would be a great spot to enjoy a lunch. The views are really awesome. If you are in Ticonderoga you definitely should stop here."
