"This is Sue not Mac. Went on a week long catamaran trip around the USVI with 4 other couples. I wasn't sure how I would do, being someone who likes freedom of movement, my own space and managing my kids lives (I will admit it) . IT WAS AMAZING. Colin, the captain, planned the trip for us, and together with Sarah (the chef and his wife), they fed us, and provided us with one of the most memorable vacations we have ever had. We saw some dolphins swimming by and we (including Colin) jumped in and swam with the pod. We also jumped in with sea turtles. There was plenty of room to enjoy the beautiful sea and sky and the stops provided swimming, snorkeling, hiking and hanging out. We laughed, danced, told stories, read, lounged and swam. We already have decided to re-convene with Sarah and Colin for a trip to the Grenadines next year. Colin and Sarah are professional, yet personally they are kind, adaptable, knowledgeable and very easy to be with. I recommend it for couples, a family or a group of families."

"We not only had an opportunity to sail with Ted, but also to take some of our sailing certification courses with him. Without doubt, it was the best possible combination of legitimate learning and a positive, fun experience. I have been sailing since I was young, with experience in the Great Lakes, Tampa Bay, Chesapeake Bay, and inland lakes. By contrast, my partner was much more of a novice, and had really only been on day cruises with her family. We both learned a tremendous amount, and came away feeling much more confident. I think this speaks to the talent of Ted to simultaneously teach to people of different skill levels, and make sure it's an educational experience for everyone involved. I would absolutely take a course with Ted again, and have in fact passed up on other opportunities just to be able to train with him. If you're even thinking about taking a trip or course with him, then you should absolutely do it."
