I first went to alissah for extensions and she listened to every single thing I asked for. Fast forward to a move up and she SLAYED the new hair cut I wanted plus gave the most DIVINE scalp massage. "No idea where to go for your hair care needs in the UV? Look no further, Scout Hair Design (SHD) has and does it all! The salon is bright and spacious and conveniently located in downtown WRJ, VT. Their staff and stylists are extraordinary! Olivia has been my stylist for over a decade, but I would trust any of the other stylists in her absence. Their online booking system is easy peasy lemon squeezy. The services are fairly priced. They are an Aveda salon so you know they have to be top notch to be a member. The best part is knowing that they are a Green Circle Salon, so they can literally recycle all the normal “waste” products that other salons can’t. The only improvement I would ask is for a license to serve alcohol, but being right in the heart of WRJ you can grab a drink before or after from any of the local watering holes. For anyone concerned about masking policies they got it covered (no pun intended) with your ask. You’ll feel safe and beautiful in the hands of the team at SHD! "Greedy!! It was my first time trying this place.. Worst client service of all hair salons i've been to. I was late to an appointment that included both hair color and cut by 20 mins - they refused to let me get my full service or a reschedule i.e. could have colored and said no time for haircut / blow dry but instead they chose to charge the full service I had booked and then pretended they couldn't partial color despite there being 2 hours of the appointment left. I am from NYC and I think they are subpar for starters but with their greedy attitude - I can assure you that no Dartmouth students will go to them after their lack of decency. Its ridiculous to make money off students this way. Also - their alternate was to offer their stylist to work on an off day for double charge - so in all I was going to be charged three times for one service? I am truly disappointed and wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy!"
