"If you want to learn about NH history, this is a great place to visit! Museum is sort of closed during the winter, but they are staffed year round if you are a researcher and would like to make an appointment. They have a vault with extensive archival material. Focus is the town of Sandwich."

"This place is AWESOME!! The main museum has so much stuff you could spend three days, all arranged as it would have been in an 1800"s house and barn. Not to be missed is the Transportation museum just down the street. Also owned by the Historical Society are the Grange Hall and The Lower Corner Schoolhouse, a one room school, which are hope periodically throughout the summer."
