"My family took me on a surprise birthday weekend getaway in August. I love mountains so we hiked and enjoyed the scenery but the highlight of trip was coming here. We had so much fun. Our guide was so friendly and we fell in love with the horses. They had distinct personalities and made us laugh so hard...I had not been on a horse in many, many years yet I was so comfortable and happy. The horses are loved and well cared for. I cannot put into words how wonderful this experience was for our family. I wanted to keep this memory so I had ornaments specially made. "I would make the 3.5 hour drive just to ride in the company of Abbott. He is the best trail guide... It's always a blast coming here and having Abbott as our guide. I swear, he's the modern day horse whisperer. UPDATE: 2/25/19 Abbott is no longer there.. so I doubt this place is any good without him ."
