"Given the very abrupt change in hotel stays this weekend Marriott was clean, respectful and kind . Coffee wasn’t bad and waffles kinda loved making my own . Given there isn’t a kitchen it is a great breakfast for a good start to your day ."

"I cannot get over how HORRIBLE the toilet smelled in our room. It didn’t APPEAR dirty on first glance, but you could see under the rim that they’ve probably never cleaned it. It smelled SO BAD like urine, that we literally had to keep the door closed so the smell didn’t linger into the rest of the room. We asked the staff to have it cleaned again while we were they, and it didn’t help. Absolutely a nightmare. I do have to give a star though because the man at the desk was so nice and friendly, giving us great suggestions on what to do during our visit."

"Jack was a big help to my family and me. We were in town for a wedding and a third party had messed up our reservation at this location. Jack, the general manager, was there to help us out and helped us find a room for the night. Jack was very friendly, courteous, and professional and this man deserves a raise for the work he puts in to make sure his guests have a good stay."

"I had randomly found this hotel a couple of years ago for a quick excursion to the White Mountains. Later I'm back because hotel is in a great location for access to the various hiking areas in the White Mountains National Forest. The hotel is brand new with excellent facilities, including laundry for extended stay, a pool, and exercise area with treadmills, ellipticals, and free weights. It's honestly more on-par with one of the headliner urban hotels one might find in Boston. I enjoyed the free breakfast, which has a great selection (and no less than a dozen toppings for oatmeal!) And you really can't beat the make-your-own-waffle stations. The one drawback was the scrambled eggs, which were liquid-laden and served in large homogeneous lumps (probably microwaved). However they do make excellent mini-fruitadas and Spanish omelettes, plus there were sausages and hard boiled eggs to fulfill ones protein requirements. The staff there were well above average, with a manager who personally made sure that guests were enjoying their breakfast with a friendly walk through the dining area in the morning. The chef was friendly and polite, the staff member in charge of the buffet making sure we didn't run out of anything, and the even the cleaners were pleasant to chat with when bumping into them during their rounds. And the area is ideal as well, including a discount supermarket next door and a variety of restaurants nearby. Going forwards I plan to visit the Fairfield whenever I go on trips to the central NH area."
