"Alda and Bo are the type of people you meet for a reason. It was no accident that I ended up in the creative studio at their home, surrounded by tastes, smells, and sights that rivaled any I had ever experienced. I don't know whether it was the wall of silver tea pots, the delicious tea and shortbread or the vibrant tulips that sat in the center of their giant stone table, but I knew upon meeting Alda that I wanted her to be a part of my wedding day. Everything about that meeting was meant to be and I felt nothing but confident in handing over my ideas. I was not the type of girl who knew what she wanted and felt very much like a fish out of water in the planning process. Alda took what little preferences I had and ran with them, all the while keeping me updated and a part of the process. Her warm demeanor and unique outlook set her apart from any other vendors with which I'd worked. Her husband was equally as wonderful, spending his time creating the lighting for my rustic wedding. He was meticulous in his execution, reasonable, and open to my ideas. Alda and Bo together as a team are dynamic. On the day I got married, Alda and Bo showed up early to prep my reception site, were at my ceremony site to prep the groomsmen, and even transported flower pieces back o the reception site once the ceremony finished. A last minute request to add flowers to a pair of old shoes that had belonged to my grandpa was taken in stride. Even my favorite flower, the peony, had secretly been added as a surprise from Alda. All in all, you will not meet two people more obsessed with the details in the best sort of way. They were an unconventional breath of fresh air in an industry looking to churn out cookie-cutter weddings. I wanted something unique, memorable, and accessible. I wanted to dance on the wooden floor of an antique auction hall that had once held the dancing feet of my grandparents in their teens. I did so surrounded by soft white lighting, fragrant centerpieces, and a whimsical flower wreath upon my head. Alda and Bo brought to life a vision that I did not even know could exist. The day surpassed any expectation I could have imagined, all while under the watchful eye of the biggest moon I'd ever seen and the love and support of Alda and Bo. If you want an out of the ordinary experience mixed with the magic of a duo who truly loves what they do, these two will not disappoint. I wholeheartedly recommend Alda and Bo to any bride who is craving quality, creativity and Maine's two best resources when it comes to weddings."
