"I hired Parker Haynes of BD Works Painting and Property late this past summer to paint the interior of my home during the late fall season. Prior to the commencement of the work in mid November, Parker came to the house to survey the job for the purpose of producing a contract for the job. He estimated the time the job would take, an estimate that turned out to be highly accurate, and presented me a contract shortly thereafter. I considered this contract to be a fair one, and it outlined impressively clearly and accurately the scope and the content of the work. Parker and his associate, Byron, were both highly professional and very communicative throughout their work here. They were very skillful in the work and careful with and respectful for personal property. (rugs, wood flooring, furniture). They left each afternoon only after having cleaned and reorganized the workspace so as to minimally detract from my ability to function normally at home during this 2 1/2 week process. Interior painting can be an intrusive process, but this was not in the least. It was a pleasure working with BD Works for this job. It was finished on time. I was very pleased with the results I received. With no pause or reservation, I can strongly recommend the services of this company for any of your painting needs."

"Parker Haynes and his BDworks crew are phenomenal! Our log cabin had not been stained in 13 years. It’s difficult to find a company with the knowledge, experience and expertise to restore a log home at a reasonable price. The last time the job was done, we did it ourselves. As a result, we know what it takes to clean logs to a point where they can take a transparent stain. It’s a lot of work. The preparation of the logs is the most challenging part of such a job and Parker knew it. We felt confident from our first meeting with Parker that he knew all the possible methods and options. Before giving us an estimate, he came out and test cleaned a section to see what method would be most cost effective. He then provided his recommendations on cleaning, type and color of stain to use, and an estimate of cost. He worked with us throughout the project. In addition, he has an incredible work ethic. There has been a lot of rain this year. He asked us if he could start earlier than expected because he could not paint houses in the rain, but he could clean the cabin in the rain. He and his crew did the most difficult part of the job in the most miserable weather. But the quality of his workmanship is what really impresses. After doing two coats of stain, Parker was not content with the job. We thought it looked fine. But it did not meet his standards because some sections of logs absorbed a great deal of the stain and did not have the luster that he wanted. So, he did a third coat on a large section of the cabin. But, he did not charge us any additional amount and held the price at his original estimate. Also, the front door was not included in the price he gave us, but he did the door at no extra cost so as to ensure it matched the shutters. I offered to pay him more because he did more work than his contract indicated. But he didn’t want to charge us anymore than the agreed upon price. I plan to hire him again to do some interior painting. I would recommend him to my best friend. He is just great to work with."

"Great team to hire for a massive paint job, price was fair and work was done in a timely fashion. Details where taken care of and left the job clean and tidy. Will hire again for my next painting. Did spoil the crew by renting a lift."
