H&R Block

"For many years, my husband and I have gone to this H&R Block. Last night we had the displeasure of dealing with Henry. This poor man needs to retire, SERIOUSLY. They were running late. We understand, things happen. He greeted us by just staring at us with his hands on his hips. After HE was late. Clearly we got Henry on a bad day. Are they understaffed? Over worked? Probably. With his hands on his hips and his scowling face and said, "So, are we gonna do this or what?". I was shocked at his entire stance and CLEAR attitude, but i said "Yes sir, let's do this." I will say, the young ladies behind the desk were very sweet and apologized for the wait. I assured them we were fine and it was no big deal. We followed Henry. Once we got into his cubicle he seemed very annoyed, and his attitude only worsened. Cutting me off when I tried to speak, and kept repeating the same sentence about deductions over and over, like I was a child that he was arguing with. Instead of a 48 year old woman that was simply looking for an explanation and understanding. My husband then told him we didn't like his attitude and I told him to have a nice day, and we walked out. This all happened in a 2 minute time span. Needless to say, I'm ALL SET WITH H&R Block forever. Never again. There are too many other options nowadays. I'm sure they will gladly take our $. HENRY.... RETIRE YOU GRUMPY OLD F***!"

"Id give negative if I could. I've been going to them for some years now and this past year my preparer was Sylvia Grondin. She was fune to do my taxes and upsell me,, but then I got a letter.. Sylvia refuses to honor the worry free guarantee that I paid for, you drop off any letters you get and don't have to worry about it. That does not happen. Sylvia geondin did not honor it one second. she told me to do the footwork and then get back to them about it find out what it's for find out what it's about and all this stuff. I thought that was their job and part of the worry-free guarantee right? Not honored one bit terrible terrible place in Sanford Maine. I'm pretty sure that's theft by deception."
