"I bought a yorkshire terrier puppy from superior kennels. On the drive home when I was almost home she had a seizure in the car. I was 2 hours away from the kennel at this point. I rushed her to the animal hospital and the told me that they drew her blood sugar and it was very low hypoglycemia. So they said its not too uncommon for small puppies and she should be fine. So I treated her with nutracal every couple of hours like they told me. I did notify the kennel of this. I also noticed that she was urinating a lot. I took her back to the vet again they told me it was normal for puppies to urinate a lot if it continued to bring her back. She also had this fishy smell to her no matter how many baths I gave her. Then I started to notice she wasn't really wanting to eat and her gums were white. And back to the vet again. They drew blood and did urine tests. $500 dollars later they tell me she had something seriously wrong with her. It was either addison's disease or renal failure and she needed to be admitted right away. I said ok on the way to the animal hospital I called the kennel and told the owner what was going on.. she said well what do you want me to do about it? I said I dont know.. she was like keep the dog I will refund your money with a report from the vet. I said ok... So I took her to the animal hospital and they did more tests and they told me it was most likely congenital renal failure and a uti on top of it. They did and ultrasound and they said both kindeys were bad one not functioning at all the other abnormally shaped. They said they would try to save her and they wanted to admit her. So they did. Hours later the vet called me said they couldn't get a line in and had to put a cath. in her neck to get the line in. They needed to sedate her a tiny bit so they did when they put the cath. in her neck her heart gave out they tried to bring her back but she died right on the table. She was so weak she couldn't survive a simple procedure. They said she would have died within a short time anyway because her kidneys were so bad. I cried she was my baby.. she died within 2 weeks of me getting her.. please beware of buying a puppy from here.. they could have congenital diseases... meaning they were born with it... I did get a refund with no hassle but I went through a lot of heart ache. Be careful !"
