"To be honest, the emergency section has rude nurses. Example, a patient had an accident, bathroom issues, they did not bother to help clean up the patient, they had no concern. Only one of the 3 nurses actually cared. The other 2 were rude with short answers, had an attitude, like we were bothering them to do they're job. Just disappointed for the non -hospitality that we needed as concerned parents."

"Very disappointed in Parkland Hospital. I went there because I could not breathe and was coughing badly. Was put in a room. Xray was taken & blood taken. Laid on the bed for 5 hrs with no doctor or nurse ever visiting my room. I went to the nurses station to find out what was going on was told they were very busy and someone would come to my room soon. I waited another 30 mins still no one came. So I went back to the nurses station and was told I was being discharged. They felt I had bronchitis and was giving me a perscription. No treatment for not being able to breathe. Just sending me home"
"My husbands visit to the ER was a less than adequate visit. He did not receive care that was appropriate for his condition. He left in more pain than he arrived to the ER with. An MRI was not ordered to determine what was going on in his leg, hip and back. The Doctor never examined him. The nurse was diagnosing him within 1 minute of arrival. They told us their job was to make him comfortable which they did not. The prescribed a steroid with no taper as well as ibuprofen which should never be taken together. In our opinion this visit was a waste of time and money."
