"I wish I could give her zero stars for putting me through such a terrible experience. I should have written this review 2 years ago when this happened but because I am a kind and caring person I hardly ever write negative reviews. I will never get over this experience. I'm also glad I wasn't the only one that knew she was a total jerk. This woman completely bailed on me the day I went into labor!! I called her during my contractions and she treated me like garbage and a waste of her time and told me to go to the hospital. This was my first baby and I had no idea what to expect. I was scared and had no one else to get answers from. Prior to going into labor she never checked to see if I was dilated. She sat in our appointments complaining about her husband and her sappy life problems and hardly cared that I was about to have a baby (who's the patient again)? The last appointment she told me I needed to bring in my cord blood bank kit and when I brought it in she snapped at me like I was an idiot and said I will bring that to the hospital....uhhhh ok? Well my delivery was a total mess. The stand in doctor was arguing with the nurses and the anesthesiologist the entire time about everything. I ended up with an Episiotomy that I did NOT want and the day after she decided to stop in (mid-day) and apologize for she had "personal" problems with the doctor. Well that didn't stop her from signing off on my chart twice that she checked my stitches (guess who gets paid $$$)...dear lord I could keep going with this story....Oh yeah and no one signed my child's birth certificate either. Thanks midwife you are an a**hole."

"Dr. Kathleen Tirrell is by far the rudest gyno I have ever come across. She has no sympathy for her patients, don't even think about calling her for an emergency (on off hours) as she won't help and will act like your a problem to her. I would never recommend her, ever."
